We can service, repair, modify and update practically any turntable made, new or old (spare parts permitting).

Currently we maintain customers turntables from manufacturers as diverse as Roksan, Linn, Pink Triangle, Garrard, Manticore, Ariston, Logic, Transcriptor, Revolver, Systemdek, Walker, Rega, Thorens, Audio Note, Reson, Dual, Michell, Project, SME, Nottingham Analogue and many others.

It is our opinion (and that of many manufacturers) that a five year service interval is suitable for most turntables. This preventative maintenance is useful to help reduce the chance of expensive faults occurring, such as excessive motor and bearing wear. Please note that your cartridge may need changing between services as cartridge life depends on several factors, including the condition of your records and the quality of the diamond used.

-We stock an extensive range of cartridges, styli and belts to enable a fast turnaround on most work.

-Re-tipping service also available for treasured cartridges.

-We also offer a record cleaning service available for £2 per LP (this price includes a new Poly Lined anti-static inner sleeve). We use the Moth record cleaning machine, a wet vacuum cleaning system that can the remove dirt that other cleaning methods miss.

Burning in cables can be a frustrating task, with some cables taking weeks of normal use to reach their full potential.
So we are now offering a Cable toasting service which is available on all audio cables including interconnects (phono and XLR terminated) and speaker cables. This service is free of charge for any new cables purchased from us. For all other cables we charge £10. The standard burn in time is a 72 hours session which in our experience is sufficient for most cables to reach their ultimate performance.

We can also now run-in entire tonearm cables (both internal and external) which is especially beneficial as the very low signal levels that cartridges put out are not large enough to really achieve optimum burn in performance on their own. Details and cost are the same as above.
