Loudspeakers Accessories

-Loudspeaker spikes Fitting spikes to loudspeakers and stands that do not feature them as standard will make a fundamental improvement to sound quality. These sets include spikes with lock nuts and threaded inserts. Available in two different sizes, Small (6mm thread): £6.50 for four, Large 8mm thread): £10 for four.


-Bi wire links If you are currently using your Bi-wireable speakers in single wired mode chances are that your audio signal is passing through the metal bars that are fitted as standard. Unfortunately these are often very detrimental to sound quality. Simply replace them with a short length of speaker cable (we will sell just a few cm’s of cable) or use a set of bridging links with plugs and sockets as made by the Chord Company for circa £45 a set.
-Custom Design Inert filler for speaker stands and equipment support, designed to add mass and damp resonance's. £4.99 per bag.

Rothwell in line Attenuators

These adaptors will reduce the gain of your signal by 10dB, perfect for using a CD player with an older amplifier to prevent overload or where your system gain is just too high: £39 pair.

Music First Audio The Attenuator

This cunning box contains high quality transformers that will provide a 20dB drop of signal for situations where you want to reduce gain with the minimum of sonic compromise. A lot more expensive that the Rothwell’s but highly advised in any high resolution system that requires attenuation: £200.

Contact Cleaners & Anti Static treatment

-Caig ProGold preserves and lubricates contact areas, as well as improving the conductivity on all metal connectors. It is recommended to treat surfaces with DeoxIT before use: £24.95 (20ml spray can).
